The Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM®) has been the source for education, resources, information and membership for real estate management professionals for over 70 years. An affiliate of the National Association of Realtors®, IREM is the only professional real estate management association serving both the multi-family and commercial real estate sectors. With 81 U.S. chapters, eight international chapters, and several other partnerships around the globe, IREM is an international organization that serves as an advocate on issues affecting the real estate management industry.
 

PMA's mission is to promote knowledge and education of the property management industry. This goal is accomplished through a variety of mediums. PMA sponsors monthly meetings featuring speakers and topics on a diverse range of issues from responding to the shake out in the telecommunications industry to the current state of the property management profession. PMA also offers a series of accredited seminars on practical and topical issues such as how to save money or utilities or respond to the latest environmental mandates. Our publications have received national acclaim for their effectiveness and our annual trade show-the Property Management Exposition (PMEXPO) - is recognized as one of the largest and finest events of its kind in the nation.
 

The Apartment and Office Building Association of Metropolitan Washington (AOBA) is the leading membership organization representing commercial and multi-family residential real estate in the Washington Metropolitan Area.  Formed in 1974 by a merger of the Apartment House Council and the Building Owners and Managers Association, AOBA's mission is to protect and enhance the value of its members investments through effective leadership and advocacy, dissemination of information, and professional development.
 

Founded in 1957, the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) is the global trade association of the shopping center industry. Its 65,000 members in the U.S., Canada and more than 80 other countries include shopping center owners, developers, managers, marketing specialists, investors, lenders, retailers and other professionals as well as academics and public officials. As the global industry trade association, ICSC links with more than 25 national and regional shopping center councils throughout the world.
 

The U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) is the nation’s foremost coalition of leaders from every sector of the building industry working to promote buildings that are environmentally  responsible, profitable and healthy places to live and work. Our more than 9,000 member organizations and our network of 75 regional chapters are united to advance our mission of transforming the building industry to sustainability.
 

Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) is a national association representing more than 24,000 merit shop construction and construction-related firms in 78 chapters across the United States. ABC's membership represents all specialties within the U.S. construction industry and is comprised primarily of firms that perform work in the industrial and commercial sectors of the industry.
 

The National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP) is the nation's leading trade association for developers, owners, investors, asset managers and other professionals in industrial, office and mixed-use commercial real estate. Founded in 1967, NAIOP comprises 14,500+ members in 53 North American chapters. It provides networking opportunities, educational programs, research on trends and innovations and strong legislative representation.
